Case Study: Classic Benz

Starting from a practically blank slate we examined competitor sites, sites that appealed to Bruce and our own experiences. We started to develop a design document with our different sources of inspiration, initial concepts, and wireframes. Following refinement and approval we could proceeded with the full site build.

The site takes advantage of multiple key layouts in an attempt to achieve a good balance of style, substance, and accessibility. Our primary goal is to connect users with the car listings, we made use of a featured car section on the homepage and had a key focus on avoiding other UI elements getting in the way of where a user wanted to go. The listing pages have succinct cards for each of the cars for sale, with designated areas for a small excerpt, and usp banner, reducing clutter. The Display pages themselves optimise the presentation of information to the user, with a clear leading image, bite sized specification data in a side bar, and a simple description area.

The site also needed to feature Bruce's own talents and specialities. We built a bespoke layout to feature his services and a section about him and his history in the business, with an Interactive sidebar for easy navigation. The whole site has been built in a manner that changes are easily and quickly implemented wherever they're needed, without sacrificing it's distinct look and feel.
