Background

Following a competitive and tenderly-approached bid in 2023, we were successful in securing a contract for ongoing support, including responsive development, for the Royal Signals Charity's website.

The website is built on Laravel with Voyager Admin, allowing the Royal Signals team to effectively manage the site's five main areas, each of which are dedicated to a different organisation associated with RS. Each of these organisations has a group of pages (or microsites) and a variety of unique features, many of which have been specifically developed for their particular needs.

The Solution

Trusted Support Partner

The management of the Royal Signals website requires the ongoing and consistent application of best practices during development and whilst applying updates to the site’s codebase. Through custom templates and extensive styling, we continue to achieve a cohesive look and feel across the site.

Technical Expertise

Our ongoing support covers a multitude of areas from general content updates, SEO, technical support and advice, to on-demand requests to create new areas and pages, design new layouts and develop new templates and styles for the site. We also successfully migrated the Royal Signals Museum website to the main RS site by transferring it from a WordPress site, and this was completed without any loss of content. Our development process also minimised any negative SEO impact. The total site migration was very successful, allowing all areas of Royal Signals to now sit under the main site umbrella and integrate seamlessly.

By Your Side

Due to high stakeholder satisfaction, we were awarded a 3-year fixed-hour contract to provide ongoing, increased support and development to the Royal Signals Charity and the Royal Corps of Signals; a testament of our hard work, professionalism and fantastic working-relationship.
